Tenuta La Braccesca – one of the first acquisitions Antinori in 1990 – is located a few kilometers from Montepulciano, to the south-east of Tuscany, on the border with Umbria. Excellent wine “Bramasole” made from grape varieties Syrah, grown on clay soil vineyards “La Braccesca”, located in Cortona DOC at an altitude of about 290 meters above sea level. 2008 harvest was collected manually at the time of optimal ripening of the grapes in mid-September. After gentle pressing berries are a 7-day fermentation and cold maceration in contact with the skin in steel containers at a temperature not above 28 ° C. Then the wine is aged for 16 months in new French oak barrels. Vintage bottling took place in the summer of 2010.
