In 1863, Jean-Baptiste Camus Cognac House founded Camus, whose goal was to produce only the highest quality cognac. Within a few years Cognac Camus won the hearts of Europeans, and later became the official cognac at the court of Nicholas II. For the production of high-quality Camus selects the best harvest in the intricate art of assemblage and distillation of wine used a number of family secrets that are passed from generation to generation. Each step in the manufacturing process is strictly controlled by the masters. The company has its own vineyards in the best areas of the region of Cognac: Grand and Petit Champagne, Fins Bois, Bons Bois.
