Hermitage wine for several years are the best of all the wines in the north of the Rhone Valley. This is confirmed by the high ratings, wine experts and critics. Hermitage“Monier de la Sizerann” – is monosepazhnoe wine made from Syrah grapes elite grown in the unique conditions of the old Hermitage appellation. The main difference appellation – it’s different terroirs, located on the west to the east and consisting of gravel and granite alluvial terraces, silty soils with a strong presence of stones, and characterized by a temperate climate, which provides the highest quality grapes and flavoring “Monier de la Sizerann” refinement and high tannin content.
Fermentation of wine produced in open wooden vats at a temperature of 26-32 degrees. The wine matures 12 months in oak barrels, of which one-third – new. Hermitage Monier de La Sizeranne not filtered and clarified to produce pure color is poured several times, gradually released from the sediment.
