“Granc Murales” – a delicious wine with a rich flavor and luxurious fragrant bouquet, named for the wall that protected the Cistercian monastery in Poblet during the Mercenary War. They are depicted on the wine label. Blend wine is very unusual, it includes the famous Spanish Garnacha Tinta varieties, Mazuela, Monastrell, Karin and two autochthonous varieties Harry and Samso. These rare species have become extinct a century ago, after the invasion of phylloxera, but the company Torres with modern winemaking technology has been their recovery and development. Grapes grown in the Conca de Barbera, at the foot of the medieval walls, stony slate soils of the region.

“Granc Murales” won a lot of high-grade professionals and awards at international competitions, including for the vintage 2004, three gold medals – at the Los Vinos de Espana 2009, International Wine Challenge 2008 and International Wine Challenge 2007; gold medal at the Wine Challenge 2004 in Japan for the 1998 vintage.

The company was founded by Jaime Torres and Miguel Torres in 1870.
