Wine Torres, “Gran Vina Sol”, Penedes DO, 2014, 750 ml

“Gran Viña Sol” is different from his younger brother “Viña Sol” greater complexity and richness. This wine was the first in Spain, in the production of which was the method of partial fermentation in barrels of Limousin oak. Chardonnay and Parelyada harmoniously blended after careful fermentation, thus preserving the individual characteristics of each class and are sustained for a short time in oak barrels. As a result, was born a great intense wine with nuances of vanilla and oak.
Wine “Gran Vina Sol” was awarded a gold medal at the “Challenge International du Vin 2006” in France for the vintage 2004 gold medal at “Chardonnay du Monde Francia 2002” for the vintage 2001 gold medal at the “Expovina 2000” for the vintage 1999 .

The company was founded by Jaime Torres and Miguel Torres in 1870.
